On April 10th 2025, Carlos Aguilar, the chair of the “Media Board” together with Giacomo Lasorella, the Chair of its Audience Measurement working group, discussed extensively the topic of Articles 24.1 and 24.2 of the EMFA regulation with Yannick Carriou, President of the AMC and CEO of Médiamétrie (France). Both parties explored possible cooperation in the development of guidelines, that will shape the future of Audience measurement in Europe. AMC also handed over its new Position Paper on the role of independent audience measurement on the implementation of the provisions in EMFA.
