Ahead of today’s Telecommunications Council, the AMC joined eight media organizations to call for a Digital Omnibus that upholds its original simplification objectives.

The current proposal not only introduces a complex, centralized consent mechanism but also undermines the ability of JICs and research suppliers to conduct independent audience measurement—a core provision of the European Media Freedom Act.
