The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyse e.V. (agma) is an association of approximately 200 of the most important companies in the advertising and media industry dedicated to researching mass communication. For the advertising industry, agma's reach data forms the basis for its media planning strategies and thus ultimately for the distribution of advertising revenue. agma regularly surveys the reach of newspapers and magazines, radio, outdoor advertising and online media. The data from the media analysis is used, by consensus among all stakeholders from the media, agencies, and the advertising industry, to provide the advertising currency in Germany.
