AIMC (Association for Media Research) – is a Spanish JIC and and was founded as a private company in 1968 under the name of “Estudio General de Medios S.A.” The basic goal at that time was to perform a multimedia survey that could provide the market (media, advertisers and advertising agencies) with the “currency” for the sale and purchase of advertising space. AIMC is composed of a wide range of associates, (+130) including: Media companies (print, radio, TV, digital,cinema, outdoor), Media agencies, Consultants and public bodies. The EGM (the multimedia survey) remains AIMC's main activity. It is the most comprehensive multimedia audience study in Spain, covering newspapers, magazines, radio, television, cinema, and internet. Its sample size is around 150,000 interviews per year and it is the “currency” for print, radio and cinema.
